Tell you what, you people don't have a clue - Clarke was terrific. better first half than second but by no means poor in the second half. Law was neat and tidy and kept us ticking over. not shocking by any stretch. Never mind all this, ricc, how was last night for you?

Reading all this effusive praise for Clarke is tempting me to watch the game back on Dmitry's link to see how right/wrong I was. I really did think him, Law and McMahon were way below par last night so I'm wondering if I'm losing a grip of my shit. Like you I also thought he had a poor game . All I remember were a couple of shots he had which went over the bar, a cross which missed everyone, a couple of misplaced passes and getting easily muscled off the ball when he was through on goal. The only good moment he had in the game was the shot he took which hit the bar. I'll watch the game again if my IPad allowed me to download it. If you rewatch the match let me know your assessment.

Right, on to tomorrow - team selections to consider:
Darby/McMahon: Could make a case for Darby here due to having the one goal lead and defensive work being paramount. I expect McMahon to play.
Hiwula/Clarke: Hiwula might get the nod due to (as we all agreed) Clarke being shit in the home leg. Clarke will start.
Jones/Clarke: same as above but questions about Jones' fitness. Clarke will get the nod; Jones will play at Wembley should we get there.
Law/Gillead: Very little chance of Gillead getting the nod here due to fitness and Law being more defensive. I'd like to see it though cos Law's awful lately.
Doyle/Sattelmaier: Doyle looked very nervy on Thursday and Sattelmaier played a blinder at Rochdale and looks a great prospect. Doyle will play.
Despite me offering these options I'll be surprised if McCall doesn't start with exactly the same side as Thursday.
I can see us conceding early and making heavy weather of it in true City style.
Where's everyone watching it? Father-in-law's hooky box for me.

1-1 draw with wyke scoring...drop law and bring Gilliead in. Looks like Jones won't make it but 5 across the mid with Clarke trying to link up with Wyke.

1-1
Wembley bound.
We all meet up at the Green Man and realise we intensely dislike each other.

Not going to any pub that's 5 deep at the bar.

Not going to any pub that's 5 deep at the bar. You'll be going to a pub where it's mandeep at the bar. Blue Oyster?

Not going to any pub that's 5 deep at the bar. I'm with you on that. The Green Man had an outside and inside bar and was spot on in terms of lack of queuing.

Really doesn't affect me at all, perhaps I'm not a real fan.

Coverage starts at 6:30pm on Skysports and it also says on the BBC sport website that the game is going to start at half 6. Does that mean there's going to be no pre match build up to the game? What time does the game start?

Apparently Rosler has been saying:
‘BCAFC is the one with something to lose, not us…’; ‘City fans have over-celebrated’; ‘We knew the BCAFC game plan and they were predictable’; ‘BCAFC were unsuccessful in making domination count’; ‘City didn’t create many problems’.
I am telling you now, I would love it if we beat them....
