Fucking hoof.
T&S starting to look a little one dimensional where the formation is concerned. I’m not sure what we’re waiting for now the second’s gone in.

Rowe for Watt and Evans for Vernam. I’m guessing Scales drops back to take Watt’s place and Rowe goes in at ten while Evans is a straight swap. No tactical change.

Trueman and Sellars will be gone by Christmas. Need Six months of Dewhirst articles of give them time first, but those two subs with 18 minutes left were baffling

They need to reign in this fucking hoofing too. Shitty percentage balls in the vague direction of an attacker isn’t a profitable tactic.

Bubble well amd truly burst. Sounds daft, bit T&S will come under pressure now.

Fine margins, could easily have scored a couple of goals.

Bubble well amd truly burst. Sounds daft, bit T&S will come under pressure now. They shouldn’t but they need to adapt. They’ve been fucked since Cooke got injured and they’ve not only not fixed the problem of the formation, they’ve not tried. Sticking slavishly with this formation without the players to do so is shooting themselves in the foot. We’re trying a different number ten every game and it’s not working. Similarly substitutions are like for like and almost never tactical. 2-0 down and going nowhere tonight with a few having shockers was the perfect time to switch tactics. We waited too long then stuck with what we already knew wasn’t working.

89 minutes gone, very high chance the game is gone. Do you bring on a guy who will retire in a couple of months or a young loan that needs games?

Weird game. We were shite but still created chances.
Too many having an off day. Watt needs a break but we’ve nobody to rest him for.
Another window like January’s and we might be onto something.

Watt Scales Crankshaw Cook and Wood all need benching. They've all been shite more often than not except for Scales who's just anonymous whenever he gets his chance. It's no longer a blip it's a shit run and were playing poorly. The season is over for us now and all the players need to show they want to be here next season.
Also a little worried about T&S and their ability to change things, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because the bench is always wank. But they're already using the credit they have in the bank and confidence in them is waning among fans already.

I can't be arsed to look for it. But what was the recent article and / or interview and / or WOAP piece rubbing people's faces in it, the people who dared to question the appointment of Sparks and subsequently T&S?
Hmm. While it's great getting to prove people wrong, you should probably leave it a bit longer than 3 months...

I think it's now officially broke. So they can at least try to fix it. That said with half competent finishing we'd have at least got a draw.

See my twitter rant for my thoughts. MTCS far from blameless but formation and personnel aside, their instructions to the players are exactly what the players SHOULD be doing. Maybe they deserve flak for not coming up with a way to compensate for fatigue and loss of Cooke, perhaps they should have been genuinely pragmatic and gone a genuine 451, try to grind a few results out, but they've stuck with what is an attacking formation (don't let any fuckwith tell you otherwise) whilst the players, mentally and physically fucked, have gone into their shells. I'm right and I know I'm right.

Which he wasn't cos he was Irish.

Which he wasn't cos he was Irish. One of my grandads was English, went over with the BEF, got left behind at Dunkirk, had to sneak across France to get to Dieppe or somewhere to get evacuated. His best mate got shot in the head. Went back after D Day in tanks and fought in Operation Market Garden, took some shrapnel in the leg. Other grandad was Irish, drove a bus in Birmingham.

I'm right and I know I'm right. My two gripes are the formation and the subs. I don’t think the formation has worked since we lost Cooke and we should have been looking for another way by now and the subs are often too late and almost always like for like within the formation. I’d like to see a tactical switch or two both pre match and in game and we can go back to their favoured formation when Cooke’s back. The increase in the hoof is a bit of a worry too. Especially as it almost never sticks up top and just comes straight back at us. Hopefully they can stamp that out on the training pitch and in team meetings though.
