What’s the timeframe between the new contract and the sacking?

Sacked him two weeks after giving him an extended contract, so the payoff will be higher.
Fuck me.

What’s the timeframe between the new contract and the sacking? 17 days, presumably new contracts are the replacement for the old "we have full faith" message from the board

Our future management team. By sheer coincidence they share the footballing philosophy of the owner* *Cheap as chips and will do what they're told.

What’s the timeframe between the new contract and the sacking? 17 days, presumably new contracts are the replacement for the old "we have full faith" message from the board So we’ve had a little over a fortnight of the club pumping out ‘stability is the key’ as an excuse to stick with McCall before sacking him. I don’t rate McCall as a manager and sacking him was the right decision but fuck me we’re rudderless. Besides all of which the new guy coming in will still have to try and get success with the same rotten framework. So much about this club needs to change that, as much as sacking McCall feels like the right move, I’m not convinced it’ll make alll that much difference in the medium to longer term. We’ve sacked the manager but the club’s still fucked.

We'll make a quick appointment. I don't expect Parky to touch us.

Who will be in Rhodes' filofax?
Greg Abbott and Peter Jackson dream team it is then.
I'm glad he's gone, but it won't make any bloody difference. The whole club is fucked from the top down. Just like a fish, rotting from the head down.
I'd go for Sol Campbell. Ego the size of a planet, a complete headcase, but with both Macclesfield and Southend has experience of making dogshit players at car wreck clubs play with some sort of basic competence.

I'm a PP fan but I don't want to go backwards again.
Someone new. Flynn miraculously kept Newport up a few seasons back and has gone from strength to strength as a manager. I appreciate he played for us but it was relatively briefly. Maybe that should rule him out.

It all depends on whether we have any real ambition for moving the club forward. If Sparks is backed to rebuild this club properly, we could get someone decent. This next appointment will tell us much about what the clubs plans are.

Focus this season is survival and then Rupp needs to sell the damn club in the summer so we have an opportunity to build something

I'm so, so gutted for Stuart.
But it like a reset to where we were 12 months ago, except in a far worse place.
Wtf do we do from here? Just try and not be relegated at this point.

We'll make a quick appointment. I don't expect Parky to touch us. Paul Hurst has followed McCall in to a club before. He’s the man for City.
