I happen to find these interesting, you online bully. Of all the technology available for analysis now I think this is one of the most telling. I happened to see the Liverpool one for the match against Spurs and the difference to ours is incredible. You'd expect that with them being the champions but it's like a different sport. Very few red lines and the main ones are in the final third of the pitch where you should expect them to be. You can see that we favour attacking down the left really easily. I hope our in house analysts use something like this to check what we're up against next.

Other things that stand out to me is how little our forwards see of the ball (need to look at other teams for comparison). How involved but wasteful Watt is. Cooke’s passing accuracy is always high but he attempts nowhere near as many passes as Watt. How much of a wasteful tactic the long goal kick, and long balls in general, is/are. And (as you say) how much of our attacking is done down the left (it’s better when Hosannah is starting but still left-heavy)

I'd like to see Watt further forward, Carlisle fans were commenting regarding why he was sat so deep.

I thought he would be suited to that position but his long passing is woefully inaccurate, might be best to swap with Cooke and let Cooke carry it forward rather than attempt long passes.

The more i watch the more i think Cooke is more suited short term to Watts role, his pass recycling stats are the best in the team. Either have Clarke forward when he comes back or play Watt further forward where he wants to play the assist pass. I think Cooke and Sutton played well together Tuesday.

This backs up your point about the wasteful long ball. Even when it is effective and finds a forward, he has few options to give it to next so the attack is gone before it starts. I'm going to check out how we compare to other teams in our league and then get cross or disappointed as appropriate.
