Jesus wept.
Bradford City is 20th in League Two, we lost 5-0 at home to Lincoln, and the thing that "the squad" are bothered most about it all is that someone was horrible about them on Twitter.
If that's remotely true, if they care more about Twitter than being 2 points away from going out of the League into oblivion, then there's absolutely no fucking hope and we'd better start planning a Phoenix club now.
I know it's Dewhirst and Neale and not, say, someone who hasn't had a lobotomy, but fucking hell. That comment makes me so angry.

Ryan’s a punishment? Does he know? To clarify, I meant the contradiction in well qualified and having effectively run the club for the last few months. Anyway, funny old place is WOAP. Ocassionally some good articles but jeez the comments section after. Proper cliquey.

I can't be arsed reading through the shite that is the width of a post comment section, but i can guess who wrote that utter shite that you've quoted. For fear of making the complete fuckwit look stupid we've never abused Ryan Sparks on twitter. There was one post that the usual gompers lost their shit over, but then the'yd been systematically together searching for any little comment they could twist to suit their agenda. Fuck em.

The latest article and subsequent response from Dewhirst is akin to a professional footballer saying, “I played professional football so understand the game, you’ve only watched it for x years so don’t understand.” Mick Quinn used to say that to anyone who challenged him when he said year after year that Liverpool would win the title/England the World Cup, which was quite a lot. The only thing I would concede to ‘Quinny’ is his knowledge of the politics and dynamics within a professional changing room; anything else, I’d fancy my dog to best him on. This article is Top Trumpism at its best, “I know Ryan and Julian and they’re great. You’re not worthy enough to get a complementary corporate lunch so know nothing.” I’ve never had a free dinner with Ryan, Roger Owen, Julian or anyone else, nor can I run a bath- but I can pickle onions and, more importantly, know when a club is fucked.

'People at VP confirm social media has impacted on the mood in the squad and among the staff and you only have to consider how it must feel for Ryan Sparks to have his promotion greeted by such a barr.... blah blah blah'
Well tell twats like BRE to put as much effort into his football as he does his Instagram account for his clothes, and stop others coming out with nuggets like 'Vaughan will not leave the club on the cheap'.
Part of the job isn't it? Like working in customer care for some cunt company like npower or Ryanair.

If people at the club can't take a bit of flak, then they're in the wrong fucking job. Stop being sulky, whiny wet blankets. Just fucking hire a PR company to 'manage' your social media accounts and forget about it. Show some balls. Front it out. Stop moaning and get down to fucking business. Fuck sake.

We must be the only club in the history of the game not be owned or run by the fans but held responsible for its downfall.
These great commercial deals that Sparks is often credited with intrigue me. As a fan, all I’m bothered about is if the financial gain from it increases our chances of being competitive on the pitch. Be it through wages, management resources, training infrastructure or other things of the nature. Sadly, this has not proven to be the case. In fact it’s quite the opposite- with a significant cut to this seasons wage budget. So, tell me again, why would your average fan care about any of those deals?
Abuse on social media. When I were a lad we did it in person. If your sat close enough you still can. I don’t ever remember hearing how someone calling them out broke them down mentally enough to the point of them not caring anymore. But perhaps that correlates with the clear lack of leadership and mental toughness within the squad.
Remember when AOC threw his arm band into the goal, remember the abuse he got? It was colossal, and deserved. But now he’s actually one of our more dependable players.
But no, it’s all our fault, because we: - sold the club to a maniac and a chap who’d never even been to a football match and whose intentions for owning a lower league club in another country remain unclear - created various toxic situations between players and senior staff over nonsense (I.e. hendrie) - over spent the wage budget obscenely on average to very poor players, hiding the overspend from a forever absent and will fully ignorant co owner, subsequently leading to relegation - hire and fire managers at will with no long term plan in place - hire managers with poor or non existent records - cut the wage budget to the extent the club is struggling to compete in the bottom tier of professional football
What a rotten bunch we are.

We're a convenient excuse, a deflection, the good day to bury bad news...
Happened a few times hasn't it? Coincidental, combined statements from the club and prominent websites in the summer coming out against us, this time it was in defence of a day of decisions which they must have realised would have caused a stink amongst fans.
The funny bit is when then blame us for the general negativity - that isn't anything to do with this board - a tenuous link, but its all our fault.
They hate us, but they keep coming back to read us?

Its easy easy to resolve. Lets have a solid month of nothing but the most positive of comments, not criticism whatsoever, just mountains and mountains of support and encouragement.
And when it makes not a jot of difference to our results or the players we sign, it’ll be the end of it.

A month sounds good - we can revert back to normal just in time for the January transfer window, as we can all guess how that's going to go

That comment section is something else. One whopper even falsely claimed that the club were making decisions based on social media pressure. And some of the people reading that actually believe that shite.

I’m not blocked but I get messages, I won’t post on WOAP cos of him and I’m careful on Twitter, I’d write an article or two for WOAP if it weren’t for him, ironic because he’s the one banging on about divided fans

He then DMs people and uses unnecessary vile language and vitriol. The usual accusation is that the bully boys of The Cow's Arse are brave behind their anonymity, they're keyboard warriors. I wonder if JD would use the language he uses via DMs if he was interacting face to face. If he wouldn't then he's the very definition of a keyboard warrior.
