linkTry producing a product people want to buy. Fat Ade has just mentioned this on our WhatsApp group. So we budgeted the best part of 3,000 ifollow take ups for away games. Really? I guess this is based on figures from previous years purchases, if it isn't its just pie in the sky economics.

Half our fan base won’t even understand how it works or how to go about watching it. Couple that with our inexorable decline, the poor squad, shite fare, complete lack of expectation and the ease of illegal streaming and we’re lucky to sell the amount we are doing. They need to wake up down there and stop taking it for granted that fans will pay to watch any old shite.

Sparksy has mentioned you won't need a code to watch in the future, mine has been like that for the last few games. I've just logged on and the game was already there. Not that desperate to fork out a tenner to watch away games though. Usually listen on the radio anyway.

Look how fucking dull, predictable and how unexciting we are - and have been for about 3 years. The 4 home games have been far from convincing either.
It doesn't matter how 'affordable' (cheap) something is - if its crap quality its crap quality.
Hang on... the assumed 3000 people would take up the away games - Did they base that on us filling an away end at somewhere like Bolton and assume everyone won be desperate to watch our away campaigns? Besides, you just need one person in a group to spend £10 then he can get his mates round to watch for nowt. Or the fact our fans hate paying for anything.
Clueless budgeting.

Entertainment business. You make a poor album, film or put on a poor show, not many people are buying. No different here is it.

A tenner for a shitty stream is a chunk of money even if the quality is good. But the idea that 3000 people would pay £10 to watch Kkkkkurtis Guthrie run around?

As for the comments on twitter about Bolton and grimsby - Bolton are still in the rallying around phase, being their first season at this level. They thought they'd piss it - which isn't the case so far - but are still new enough to probably think they're a win away from from a 10 game winning run.
Grimsby IMO have more unity as a club and a fanbase, more positivity throughout.
Its just our fan base apathy as someone said - years of genuinely no good happening has taken its toll, on and off the pitch. We all know how Rahic damaged the club, but the effect Bowyer had on a day-to-day matchday basis still can't be underestimated - its a rot we're still suffering from and will be for a while.

Mmm now let me think....
We're shite. Rampant piracy, misuse etc. Radio L666s using us as practice for some hapless rookie commentator. AK sounded like hes just come back from a weekend in Amsterdam. Commentary out of sync with the ifollow stream. Constant buffering. The annoying way the radio L666s feed cuts off straight after the game before post match interviews etc.
In fact i'm mildly surprised we've sold as many as we have.
I think the club would be better of employing its own in house commentary tbh. I'm sure Thornton would do it for peanuts. Get a couple of squad players in as pundits and jobs a gud un.

Don’t get this story at all. Our recruitment does not look like a team overspending. They won’t miss the money they were ridiculous to forecast, no matter they’d just piss it away anyway.
I’m not even exaggerating, that’s literally what will happen, has happened and will continue to happen so long as we’re run like a local chippy.

This is the biggest argument against raising season ticket prices for me. Why give more money to people who don’t have a clue how to spend it? Give them more and they’ll squander more.

I can't think of a reason why there is such little interest in paying to watch us. No idea at all.
