I thought he looked better with Lee Evans at the side of him, both complemented each other. Cullen is not an attacking midfielder, i prefer to see him in the centre of the pitch where he can dictate play. Left side is definitely a problem, you can't ask Mezza to play a wing back role because he has no end ball at all. Shame we can't have two Mark Marshalls. Funny thing with Marshall, he rightly won the most awards at the POTY do and i've backed him all season, yet there were some fuck nuggets on C & B who, when picking their line ups, did not include him. Truly bewildering. There are gompers who sit behind me who think Marshall "shirks his responsibilities" (defensively I presume). Gompers. Gompers definitely mate. Marshall always puts a good defensive shift in when required. I must be watching a different player chasing and harassing opposition players. The complete opposite of Reid.

Marshall along with Cullen (if we could somehow keep him) would be dead certs for a starting position for me. Law on the other hand should have someone competing for his place. When he was out of the side, you couldn't really say that we missed him. I don't know if I want us to continue playing a centre mid on the left wing. Vincelot fails to convince me he's that talented. Dieng is a French Gary Liddle. As people have mentioned, someone like Evans would be a cracking signing for us. We have too many defensive midfielders and the balance of the side is a bit too defensive if we try to accommodate them all. We need more wingers also. I am hoping that we do see some bodies brought in for midfield.
