Losing to these would be a new low but I think that draw master McCall will get us a point. Is AOC back ? Is Paudie still suspended? I'd like to think we'd start like we did last night in a 4231 but I highly doubt it. Let's hope we get a striker and new cb in before this game.
0-0 sky bore draw

This will be 2020's Accrington Stanley 2007 moment, we all know it. No crowd to embarrass, but the opportunity to do it to a TV audience of not many can't go amiss.
0-2. Jon Stead hasn't scored yet this season...

Jon Stead hasn't scored yet this season... Stead scored the other night in the cup. I’m genuinely a bit concerned about this game. They’ve been scoring plenty of goals this season and our defence is porous. Hopefully Novak can bundle one in some how.

Harrogate Town. In a League game. At home. And we have no real injuries. And we’re not confident.
Fuck me.

Harrogate Town. In a League game. At home. And we have no real injuries. And we’re not confident. Fuck me. 20 years ago they were in the Northern Counties Premier League first division along with Accrington and Lincoln. Lincoln United. Burton Albion were at the same level. Whilst we were playing Liverpool and Chelsea this lot were playing pub football against Belper and Ossett. In 2002/3 when Junior Rhodes took over they were a league higher we were a league lower. Still, Geoff Richmond eh? Ruined this club.

I'm currently watching Bolton vs Grimsby and as a football fan I can say I would cut this bottom division off from the football league. Throw it in the national league's this division is a disgrace and can't even call it football

Width of a Post
Playing Harrogate Town is an uncomfortable warning against the dangers of slumbering. Of getting too used to mediocrity. Because a lot of clubs with no history, no prestige and no real support have in recent years overtaken us. And watching someone right on our doorsteps attempt to do the same should act as a jab in the chest to get our act together.
Is this exactly what TCA have been saying all summer? Is this exactly what McKeown and Dewhirst have been slagging everyone for saying?

He’s been going for ages, in July a new CEO wasn’t far off and it was one to make us all pleased apparently. Going well three months later is that. Unless someone tell me Jenkins is waiting for the final signatures on the purchase agreement, I’ll believe Rhodes is going when he actually goes.

All the usual ‘another excellent article, Jason’ comments raised a wry smile.

Yeah but they said it with betterer words, innit? Hobbes was accused of using Orwellian words, whoever she is. Yet he's the leader of the thought police calling out anyone who speaks against Big Brother Julian. Yeah I've read books too John. Several.

Skybet have Harrogate as favourites.
We're the fucking underdogs for this game. Let that wash over you.
