I’m not a teacher, but if it’s that easy, have a go.
Shit management, planning, marking, report writing, parents who think Johnny shouldn’t be told off, abusive parents, kids who don’t give a shit, the whims of the latest Education Secretary. It’s hard work. Forget the long holidays, a lot of teachers will work most weekends and evenings, they don’t just do their directed 1265 hours.
Pension is good though, even if they did change it from final to average salary, it’s better than any private sector employees get these days.
There’s no way in this world I’d consider teaching unless it was a last resort.

There’s no way in this world I’d consider teaching unless it was a last resort. Fair points. Labour voter? Used to always vote conservative but since they went all Brexity, racist and generally incompetent no chance. Round here they would vote for a donkey with a blue rosette on it, come to think of it, they did. Married to a teacher though, although it’s a profession that could use some common sense and removing from political influence like the NHS, most of them work hard. My missus will usually do 7:30-16:30, a couple of evenings and then most of Sunday and I don’t think she’s that unusual, often doesn’t have a lunch break because of playground duty or watching the twats in their consequences room. Summer holidays the last week or two most of them are back sorting their classrooms out, they have to buy some of their own equipment too. Buys the piss poor kids food and stuff as well. When I’m at work and have a hangover, tired, feeling a bit rough I can hide in the gents or have a brew and look at the news, teachers can’t even have a brew in class. There are some shite teachers and some militant fuckers who rip the arse out of it, but a lot of them are hard working and want to put the kids first.

Plenty of action but not approached that hurdle. I know you'd be slipping a finger in early doors but we don't all have your romance and finesse m8. Cracking part of the world. Booked it for New Year already.

We've gone from teachers to misogyny. Love them stories of a young female teacher banging a lucky pupil and then being prosecuted for it. Didn't do Macron any harm.

Lazy, hard done by wankstains Sounds like a good tag line for the next recruitment drive. I usually just post pictures on Whatsapp on the last day of term in pub, then liquid lunches over the holidays, as well as photos from the ski trip.. Not sure why everyone isn't a teacher.. except some of you deviants whose legal issues prevent it. I did do a proper job for one year, in IT, but got bored and nothing from it (other than cash) but the job satisfaction is there every day in teaching. You may get some shit occasionally but if you have the personality it's relatively easy to ignore, particularly from the kids, but knowing what you've done for others and, to be fair to most parents and colleagues, often hearing it too is great. Been reading a lot of stuff recently about life and mental health, bizarrely some by John Bishop and Russell Brand, about how we only satisfy our needs in life (and therefore not succumbing to drink, drug, materialistic and other addictions) by what we give to others. Never felt that working in IT making money for the miserable Leeds fan in the big office, feel it without realising it at times in teaching constantly and realised it was missing during early lockdown before I went back. Oh, and there's some cracking mums too!!

Did anybody actually have any good teachers? I can only really remember wanting to impress my middle school English teacher. Other than that they were all a bit gettish in their own ways.

Most of mine were sadistic with small cocks, and the males were even worse Can you remember any of them? Mrs Morris - cookery teacher. Always used to shout as never had enough time to cook. Mrs Hillary - Art teacher. Drove a Citroen thing. She'd be gender fluid nowadays. Mr Cutter - Wordwork teacher. Used to have his dog in the classrooom so he could roger it at lunchtime Mr Tenant - Any teacher that makes you play rugby is a psycho Mr Brown Senior - Gave me detention for smoking a wood splint Mr Larrard - Loved throwing the wooden board rubber at peoples heads Mr Buckee - Looked like Yoda
