Rumours today the latest north west club to go into admin are Wigan, was always going to happen without the Whelan family. Bet they pick it up again for peanuts after admin

That could save Town.

Puts Huddersfield just outside the relegation zone. Way they’re playing though might see them slip back in with a bit of luck

Aren't they past the point of it counting this season and it goes into next season ?

Aren't they past the point of it counting this season and it goes into next season ? Normally the end of March isn’t it? Depends on where we would be if the season were running to plan. It’s probably no coincidence they chose today after playing Stoke last night to make it apply next year

If they go down anyway it will go on next season, if they aren't in bottom 3 at the end of the season they then get the points deduction and likely relegated.

I think they may have closed that loophole yes, playing well Wigan and they’re only four points off safety so fingers crossed.

Seems to be more to this than meets the eye and could well be a case for the fraud squad. All sorts of things alledged from the club being lost in a bet to money laundering and fraud. They were only bought 4 weeks ago for 17million. I've got a feeling if Whelan doesn't do something then there really won't be a Wigan

All sounds very shady. So glad we're held in the warm embrace of uncle Julie. He'd never rick the future of Bradford City like that.

They sound like they got fucked harder with their owners than we did with Edin. At least they went for jugular, I read this on a Wigan page -
"Its not a new owner its the old owner setting up a new company and took out a 28m loan to buy the club from HIMSELF. Then puts us into administration and walks away with big interest payments attatched to the loan either at 8% if paid back in a year rising to 20 % if not within a year. Easy easy money. Efl pass it, bingo quids in. Old stanley the poker player has caught us right out."

This might be the one that finally buried the EFL as an organisation.

Thread: This might be the one that finally buried the EFL as an organisation. Saw that earlier. If it turns out that there's a completely made up person they're going to look like prize chumps.
