Just seen his farewell message to the Tranmere supporters on twitter. Him leaving in January sums up perfectly what a fucking tinpot outfit we are. Infact that whole January is prety much us as a club. Allowing your topscorer to leave because he's fallen out with BowyerS and his god awful brand of football then Captain Admin leaving it till right till the end of January despite the writing being on the wall for weeks and having to endure not just two of the worst displays in living memory at Mansfield and then Oldham in a week but also allowing him to replace Vaughan with Novak and some bloke who couldn't get a game at the 92nd best club in the league. And then sack him.
And you wonder why some still stick up for Capt Admin? Worlds fucked.

What's the betting that Vaughan completes pre season with us, then goes out on loan with us subsidising his wages. Leaving us out of pocket and without a striker. A loan in from Bolton's youth team to replace him.

And just to remind you, Harry Kane was a youth player once.

Didn’t the Bolton youth team once play our senior pro’s off the park in a Checkatrade game?

Stuart was asked a question when he first came in about whether he wanted Vaughan back this summer and his response was something along the lines of "who wouldn't want to work with him" so I think it's fair to say what he wants.
You can't blame him if he isn't enthusiastic about coming back after having to work with that boring bastard last season. But, Vaughan leaving shouldn't even be a remote possibility because for starters we won't find a better striker for what captain admin wants to pay and secondly, there's three other donkeys that need to be sold in that position first.
I'm just hoping it's a Mark Marshall situation where an arm round the shoulder and an appropriate style of play sees him flourish.

Tbf Vaughan was decent even under the fkn clown Bowyer, he may be expensive but if we got any ambition surely he leads the front line.

Vaughan will be shit next year. Doesn't want to be here and ageing. 6 goals off the bench tops and on a hefty wage. Get rid

If he comes back with a good attitude now Bowyer has gone he'll do well in a Stuart team with the right service.

With him our forward line looks worryingly shite, without him it’s hopeless.

How many carthorse journeymen have we said that about now? and the guy is a bad attitude personified, it's what made him good in the first place. Not for me pal. Feel the wages would be better elsewhere.

Feel the wages would be better elsewhere. He rebelled against Bowyer’s tactics and selections. Now, he might have a bad attitude but he was right; Bowyers tactics and selections were shockingly bad. For me he gets credit for standing up and saying what everyone in the dressing room was thinking.

He's a winner and you could see that it frustrated the fuck out of him playing the way BowyerS had him toiling up top on his own. We're not going to get a better striker elsewhere, if we've got to pay him his money (which we should, we offered him the deal and he accepted it) then we might as well get out moneys worth out of him. As has been said he's only out and out goalscorer in the squad.

Kids these days, give a corner flag a good kicking ten times a season and you're a ballon d'or contender.

Kids these days, give a corner flag a good kicking ten times a season and you're a ballon d'or contender. He was kicking corner flags when he was scoring goals. Note that that was at the start of last season when the players were not yet fully trained in Bowyerball tactics and were playing largely on instinct. As soon as his tactics began to be deployed we dropped further and further. The chances dried up. His head went down.
