I remember when he said "I'll do whatever it takes to get this club back where it belongs..... the people of Bradford deserve better" We're now the 15th worst club in the country only by the grace of coronavirus. What he says, which today is very very insignificant, and what he does are very different. I don’t understand how he hopes to achieve his ambition. Right now it looks like just hanging around until it happens is the plan.

The exact quote...
“The people of Bradford deserve much, much better".
“I will do everything in my power to wash away the dreadful memories of the last 12 months and consign them to the history books for good. I have invested significantly in the club over the past two seasons and will continue to do so"
Still waiting Stefan, still waiting

Aww. So from the heart, he must really care. What a chairman, we're so lucky to have him.
Still, that £1.75m loan ain't gonna repay itself.

So if you enable a lunatic, further enable him by neglect, get us relegated and run up a huge bill as a result then somehow sticking around to fix out out of some sense of moral duty equals putting the cost of fixing your mess on the club’s tab? It’s madness to me that this package is being sold and bought as something we should be grateful for.
Him and his pal fucked us in the first place and now his ‘help’ is costing us further. And, just to reiterate, he could have sold.

And, just to reiterate, he could have sold. Its staring everyone in the face - but as you saw in response to his quote yesterday there are plenty out there who are happy to go along with it - 'oh yes, this shit is delicious, please feed me more Mr.Chairman'. Mind you there were a couple who weren't, just a couple mind. And there are plenty online who've said they'd be happy to buy a ST even with no guarantee of any football next season. Usually trotted out with 'if it helps the club'. As long as there is that substantial number of fans who'll never say 'enough' we'll go nowhere. This club will never be fixed. It just lumbers from one financial ball and chain to another, with a series of owners who ties themselves into a good deal at our expense.

I'll phrase our current situation in a way that everyone can understand. Imagine we've been seriously bummed by a rogue taxi driver (just imagine that Hoochy). The driver has then had a pang of guilt and driven us to casualty, he's now waiting outside for our sore bum to be soothed by calamine lotion etc. When we get back in he'll do it again as we're now OK, and all the time we were waiting the meter was running.

www.google.com/amp/s/www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/17667504.amp/Funny this article mentions Rupp putting in £1.2m but no mention of it being a loan... that seemed to emerge later. I've read more gushing praise for that statement on twitter from that arsehole Dewhirst and others, who are also having a swipe at those like us who dare to criticise it. Someone on the twitter reply and remind him we're going to have to pay this back someday.

This 'loan' part needs shouting from the rooftops - it's like we've gone back in time like with Rahic, we see the shitstorm while everyone hails their new overlords, only realising it was all a con when it was far too late.

I don't know if anyones ever mentioned it but he had a meeting with Rupp in Germany you know? If it wasn't for the timely intervention from our hero, who should be rewarded for good work, then Mr Rupp would have gone bankrupt or something. It wasn't like anyone had a clue what was going on behind the scenes (cough, cough the Cows Arse) but as usual the gompers took no notice. There were a few that knew full well what going on but chose either not to say anything or angled others to do it for them. What a tin pot club we are.

It’s like playing peekaboo with a child. It’s essentially the same process over and over again but the kid never loses his appetite for it.

widthofapost.com/2020/05/06/lessons-from-history-life-during-wartime/Forget most of this waffle, its the third paragraph from the bottom that interests me. 'Potentially provide an opportunity to rebuild the club for the better.' How the fuck dos that work? Gonna start shaking the magic money tree again? We're more likely to go to the wall like a fair few other lower league clubs than see this wonderful new world order of football where we rise from the ashes like a pheonix.

Even the official line is that he’s only committed to keeping us afloat. This will involve cutting the operation to the bone so we won’t be much better off than a lot of our competitors and will be worse off than others. Given the level of pros we employ and the fact that planning for the future has never been part of our MO I’m not sure where there’s much good news here. ‘Chin up, lads, we’ve a fair chance of staying in business’. Well whoopee shit.
We’ve got none of the above. Next.
