He'll get us up. Playing his brand against these pub teams will see us through.

He always ends up with a shitter squad than the managers before and after him.
He would have got a tune out of Doyle and Vaughan, for all his tactical limits, he’s a people person and players like playing for him.
I reckon he’ll get us play offs, but autos look a bit too far now we’ve got no goal scorers.
Is that enough for a hit? Genuinely don’t know. Probably only if we win them.

I really want this to work out, I really hope that he gets us up and I really hope that he’s here for a long successful period....but I’m not sure how good of an idea this is and I hope I am very wrong.
One thing for sure is that his football is light years ahead of BowyerS which is only a good thing.

McCall knows how to get the best out of players. NKP and Vincelot should have been a nightmare CB pairing but served us brilliantly at the back. Reeves was a class above playing under McCall but now looks conference level, Wyke was prolific for us but hasn’t done much since, Marshall was a transformed player etc etc. I think we have a number of players in this squad, Mainly Cooke and Devitt, who will benefit under his leadership and the type of football he tries to implement. McCalls biggest test is going to come when we go on an inventive bad run of form and have to grind out results but for the time being I’m satisfied happy with this appointment. It’ll be nice to see us take games to the opposition for once.

Mental that this is his fifth time here as player and manager and we’re still not entirely sure what to expect.

I wonder at what point will will not look to McCall then we need a new manager?
Feels like he will always have unfinished business here
That said. It's a good fit for us now I suppose. Like others said, just mental they decimated our squad a few days before bringing him back.

I’m broadly ok with this. I thought he did a good job in difficult circumstances last time.
My unease is that this feels like we’ve simply taken a quick and easy option. I want a proper fucking plan, and proper backing to support a manager being successful. I don’t think that’ll happen. He won’t have the same obstacles like last time, but he’ll still be expected to polish turds.
