15th say I. We've staved off relegation with Payne and Scannell but I think there'll be a few shockers among these 'promising' players.

20th. Even if we finish bottom, edin won't sack collins as he'll have to admit he was wrong

21st. Worried about the depth of our squad. We've one or two excellent signings, and some potentially solid players like mcgowan etc but we will be lucky to have them ever present. We'll probably just about avoid the drop, but the way my weeks been going i've plumped for 21st.
The real test starts now, a bad start could make for a torrid time for our untried coaching team. We need to start ok, the shit could hit the fan and the negativity compounded if it is anything other than this happens, with the fan base so split.

If we’ve signed a decent striker or two, and if Wyke stays, mid table. If we’re relying on a combination of Brunker, Clare, Miller, Patrick and Jones for goals, bottom 4.

I don't think we're going to be as quick to flush Collins as some of you guys. Firstly he's on a long contract which would need paying up and secondly (and most importantly) it would involve Edin admitting he was wrong. Collins will last longer than the results deserve, even bearing in mind the six loss yardstick.

10th.
-2 goal difference.
Worst scoring side in division apart from bottom 3.
Wyke to finish top scorer on 10 even though we flogged him to Sunderland for £750k in January.

Absolutely no idea. None at all.
But if I had to make a prediction I'd say 1st.

I think some of you are underestimating just how shit this division is. Have a look at what the shit teams have brought in and you'll all be mortified if we had brought in similar quality. Our players, even if you don't rate them, are significantly superior than the ones at the 'lesser' teams. No chance we'll finish 15th of below.

I think some of you are underestimating just how shit this division is. This is a definite saving grace same as it was last year but I reckon the combination of so many unknowns who are likely to be below par, a ridiculously underqualified manager and an interfering chairman is enough to cause serious concern. A few bad results and I'm struggling to see who we look to to turn it around. For me, what happens with our forward line between now and kick off is what makes or breaks our season. I can see us selling Wyke late on and either not replacing him at all or doing it on the cheap.

I think RT has it spot on. Genuinely, I have no idea how we will do either, ok i made my prediction, but i don't exactly have loads of confidence in it. I know it's only pre season, but if that is any small guide, overall we will need some improvememt. I'd be amazed if we get lucky with injuries to key players over a full season.. Players like Scannel and Payne may well get targetted by other sides, it might be that other players need to step up and hopefully they are of good enough quality.. The signings of payne and scannel certainly have lifted them mood a bit, but i still have concerns about our coaching staff being able to get the best out of them. Maybe they'll turn out like the Cowley brothers at Lincoln and surprise a few, but i think it should be totally understandable that plenty have concerns. We can look at other teams signings, but with all due respect, it's hard enough to know how our own team will turn out, let alone other clubs will turn out that we know even less about.

16th, we'll be much lower than that at Christmas but I can see us being able to push the panic button and spend some cash if needed. Abbott will be in charge and will make us grittier opponents to play against.
As for Collins, it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't last 10 games. Poor form overall and continuation of the dire home form and the fans will turn - will the 32 year old PE teacher hold the respect of his players if things go wrong? August is a difficult month and we've looked abysmal up front all pre season.
