Coventry have sold less than 1000 STs. And we were relegated from that shit house league. Very relegated. TBF, they are playing at St Andrews which is 20 miles away from Coventry. And they are still owned by Sisu who are as bad, if not worse than Edin Oh I know. Fair play to em for making a stand.

This league is absolute cack and bowyers been given plenty to spend. If we don’t at least get play offs comfortably he has to walk.

I would go further and say if he doesn’t get us promoted comfortably, he needs to walk. He has zero excuses for not doing so...writing off the first month of the season might come back to bite him.

The next 3 or 4 games will be telling. Most are against teams going fairly well, Injuries and suspensions are biting and every time it looks like our performances are ready to find another gear, they don't- or they regress slightly.
Time to start nailing it, cos we cant keep shit-housing our way to 3 points.

We seem to have benefited from quite a few own goals, deflections and red cards...
I've seen most of the home games so far. Without looking at opposition or how the table lies, on the basis of performances I'd say we look like a team traditionally around the 6th-10th mark.
Defence is better than I though it would be, and O'Donnell has been handy when needed, but ond problem has been lack of composed finishing up front. Corners and set pieces are dire also considering how many we've had.
Biggest weakness is when we set up defensively or over worrying about opponents. It kills anything about us. We should not have lost to Forest fucking Green or Port Vale - the negativity to go forward or press the former was one the worst performances I've ever seen.
A few 3/4 goal wins would make people take notice. At the moment we've been making the most of fine margins. At the same time, when we have lost its always been a fine margin as well - it's not like we've been spanked by anyone.

You'd hope that a team in this position will start to push on and really dominate games. Add to the squad in January with a view to L1.

This is his style, he should be able to get us out of this terrible league with the squad we have at the first attempt. But I can't see him inspiring a league 1 team any further than mid table.

Lets worry about that when we're there. If he can take us up this season and get us mid table at worst next, that'll do. For now.
Having said that, if we had any bollocks and ambition we'd be going out in Jan and getting 2-3 that would not only nail top 3, but position us to go for top 7 next.
5-6 of the right changes in and out, and this could be a top 7 L1 team.

From the teams I’ve seen this year there is no reason why we shouldn’t walk this league. We’ve barely dominated games and have benefitted from a good deal of luck and yet find ourselves second. Given a bit of arrogance from BowyerS we could destroy teams but his natural defensive mindset is hampering us greatly. Let’s try and get out of third gear and see what we’re actually capable of.
